    Superfan,
There are 12 games, not 11. I am sure you knew that already and maybe you just can't add.

I am predicting a 7-5 season, for my Missouri Tigers. With Daniel, Maclin, Coffman on offense and Ziggy Hood and others on defense gone, there will be a drop off from last season.

I like that we catch them sandwiched in between K-State and Kansas.

You caught me. I initially had Illinois as a "win" but had Kansas in the Big XII title game (with KU, MU, and NU tied at 7-5 and Kansas winning the head-to-head in both cases), but realized I had MU at 8-4 if they beat Illinois. Changed the game result, but not the season total.

7-5. Missouri loses too many game-changers and it will be apparent. Still a decent football team.

Missouri is in real danger of having their season go down the toilet early. I don't see them beating Illinois, and as much inexperience as they have, I can see a loss on the road to Nevada. That sort of reminds me of their game against Troy a few years ago, only this Nevada team is better than that Troy team.

Then they start conference games with a three game stretch where I can see them winning one game maybe, and I actually think they'll lose all three. If they're 2-5 at that point with four straight losses, I can see them throwing in the towel.

IMO Missouri will win four or five games, maybe six if they're lucky, so I don't think they're a legit contender to win the North. The legit contenders are Nebraska, Colorado, and Kansas, and Kansas probably has too tough of a schedule to win it.

The Missouri game is the most important game for the Illini all season. It will dictate how successful they will be and Juice and Rejus Benn know that. I'm not guaranteeing victory but I'd be surprised to see Illinois lose this one. This isn't a Missouri team like they've had the last few years.

Thinking Missouri is going to fall off the map is wishful thinking imo...they have recruited well....keep in mind they blew NU off the field in Lincoln last year..Gabbert was a five star recruit...they aren't going away

Many of you are correct and I too think MU lost A LOT of talent and it will show this season. There are many that think Gabbert is the thir next savior, but time will tell.

There are many MU fans that think MU will walk all over Illinois, however, I think it is a game MU can easily lose. There are many other MU fans that think the Illinois game is going to be an easy win. I don't see it.

Hopefully I will see some of you Cyclones over on our best free board...TigerBoard.com :: Where Mizzou Fans Talk, there are alot of homers, but there is some good football talk there.

I don't think you can discount enough the loss of Chase Daniels. They also lost a lot of linemen. It looks like a somewhat easy schedule. I think 6 to 7 wins if their lucky and nobody gets hurt.
