Our season's goal? Win a bowl game.
Plus a winning record! It's been a pretty darn good first year for cpr. congrats clones!
PAUL RHOADS COACH OF THE YEAR IN MY MIND. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT
Next objective, BIG 12 NORTH CHAMPS
THEN BIG 12 CHAMPS
THEN BCS GAME
I remember chuckling to myself before the season started whenever I heard players and coaches talking about winning a bowl game this season. I always just figured we were a season or two away from that with how poorly they've looked in the past 2 years under the Chiz. Man oh man.....I'm glad they proved me wrong.
It's DONE!!! I'm almost speechless. Just talked to my son in Solana Beach, CA. He watched the game with the local Cyclone Alumni Assoc. Club. They had the get-together at a club there and had around 40 screaming ISU fans all dressed up in Cyclone garb. Needless to say they are having a great time!! There are Cyclone fans all over the globe!
AND WHEN WE HIT THAT YARD WE HIT IT HARD EVERY YARD FOR ISU!!!
To state the obvious:
1. We have as many wins this season as in the past THREE!
2. Bowl victories do not come often for ISU, is this the third?
3. We almost reversed roles with Nebraska in this game. Great job bending but not breaking!
4. I'm so happy, but it hasn't really hit me yet....
Yes, this is three.
This was awesome!!!!!!
Thank you, Paul Rhoads!!!!
This program has needed CPR for decades...we finally got a good dose of it.
Fixed that for you.
CAN YOU GIVE ME AN AMEN .
Thankyou Coach Rhoads and Staff.
2006 - 4-8
2007 - 3-9
2008 - 2-10
Nebraska counts as three. Work with us here. We're excited.
LOL. Good point.
Feel great to be wearing ISU gear with a little extra pride this December. Been a long time since I could fly my flag here in Hog country in the month of December because my football team was bowling and winning!
