Have you always been a pessimist? I'm going to quote this when we beat KSU.

Nope, but we will be starting 0-5. Just following the evidence.

Will you quote it if we lose next week?

And it's a home game to boot. Better show up for it because it's the best chance at seeing a win in Jack Trice all season.

Edit: it's the best chance at seeing Iowa State win in Jack Trice all season. I apologize to the K-State, Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and West Virginia fans out there reading.

    Here nor there
I applaud the optimism, but I'd take either of those teams to beat us. I will be surprised if we are favored at any point this season.

I hope the Athletic Department makes t-shirts if we upset Toledo.

NH up 13-3 on Toledo. Possibly ready to run away with it?

If we're going to look ahead anyway, I think I'd rather look ahead to....

A 10 point lead? That's insurmountable, stick a fork in 'em!

    14-10. Toledo scored a touchdown.

That shows heart, so I'm getting a little concerned.

Can I propose a replacement to the Cyclone Power chant for our upcoming home games?

If it makes you feel better, Erik, the Cubs are up 1-0.

Looking ahead, UNI returns their QB but loses David Johnson. So next year, we might only lose by like 3 to our FCS opponent.
