There are a lot of suggestions online but I thought I'd see if anyone here had any experiences to relate - good or bad.

The one that seems the safest but most effective to me is a mix of isopropyl alcohol with distilled water and a microfiber cloth.

I have LCD computer screen, a plasma tv and a LED laptop.

The manual for my Samsung LCD says to use a spritz of water on a microfiber cloth...that's all.

You do have to be really careful. I would lean towards the water unless you can find specifics. My wife damaged the coating on her flat screen (not plasma or lcd, but still...) by cleaning it with the wrong thing. It etched horizontal lines into it.

Yeah, I would say water and a very soft towel/cloth.
