Really? 17 years after the movie they're bringing this up?

HAHA so TMZ really ran the story. they were talking about it on the Dan Patrick Show this morning.

Awesome the show even got a plug. I am sure the danettes will be happy.

Joe is probably tired of being asked about it for 17 years.

What a coincidence - I'm not a big Rudy fan, either.

I don't care how true or untrue the movie was. It is one of my top 5 flicks of all-time. I assumed the players turning their jerseys in, crowd chanting his name, and his overall character was either exaggerated or false, but who cares? It was about him and his pops, not his relationship with the team.

    Mini-rant over. Don't **** with Rudy.

"Rudy" probably is a very romanticized and exaggerated story much like Michael Oher and "Blind Side"

Wait...Hollywood exaggerated the story and characters to make a better movie? Joe Montana must be some kind of genius!

I find this picture funny given the account of the actual day given by Montana:

Not quite the same way they had it in the movie.
