Jeff is being interviewed by the sixers for the vacancy at coach. It would be very cool to see one of ISU best players on the sidelines coaching an NBA team Good luck Jeff

Never a bad thing to have people with ISU connections entering into the big time basketball coaching ranks.

Was Hornacek still on the Sixers when the original NBA JAM came out?

    Oh yes, he was....

Thank God, if they are interviewing Jeff than they probably won't go after Fred.

One of my favorite Cyclones ever. And I think he started as a walk on. Wonder if he and Tinsley exchange many Hilton stories?

Love to see another ISU guy in Philly, awesome. The big questions is, can Jeff handle the Philly reporters? Tough city but the city will love you for life if you can win.

As I recall, he and his family loved the Philly/NJ area, and were initially unhappy about moving to Utah.

It took till post 8 for the walk-on stuff to appear.

That has to be close to the record.

Me too. IIRC the only dunk he was capable of in that game was the tiny reverse jam everyone could do. Otherwise I think he did the really flamboyant finger roll most of the time.

When is the last time Jeff Hornacek attended an ISU game at Hilton? Just curious.

Why would he take that when he could be an assistant coach for us?

    That is very cool news!
