I read on Iowas post game interview witht he O-line that Dace Richardson (iowa o-lineman) said that marshall Yanda (the guy who nailed parker on the block) was actually upset about his block. He thought he killed the guy. It shook him up pretty bad. Also Richardson said that during film review of the "block" that the consensus of the Iowa players was that they actually felt bad for the guy commenting that he was a frosh. They were pretty happy that he got up and walked off the field and more happy that he is not hurt.

Good story. Great to hear that sportsmanship is still alive and well in college football. :sad9cd:

Very good to hear. I don't think any players actually want to hurt other players...I hope not anyway.

I would have to hope that is how all players approach the game. A good hit is great until you see the other guy not getting up.
