Such a crappy idea for a thread that you started it twice in rapid succession?

Okay, guess we shouldn't pay any attention to the pink elephant in the room!

Until the pink elephant stinks up the room, it's just a pink elephant standing there.
A pink elephant isn't necessarily dangerous, since a pink elephant is just something that someone dreams up for stories.

I bet the University lands somewhere in Story County. Its pretty close to Des Monies. Could be pretty close to the interstate as well. Plus there is a good amount of land in Ames that could be used for a major university.

The "pink elephant" in the room is because you're drinking too many martini's.

Isn't it the 400lb gorilla in the room?

Guess we shouldn't pay attention to the Nebraska troll starting a thread?

Edit: Fixed it after seeing the numerous nebby references in the 60 posts.

With that response, you're either a "realist" or a hawk troll. I'll lean towards troll.

If Ames was destroyed by a massive volcanic eruption at the corner of University Avenue and Lincoln Way would ISU still field a football team?
