I was in my buddy's kitchen re-enacting my glory days on the hardwood and went up for a "dunk" and hung on his ceiling fan. Well, it didn't hold and now I have to get a new one for him, how much would I be looking at for a new one?

Judging by your post, you could get away with one less than $100.
