That's great! Too bad Seanna has to share it with Nina Davis, who snagged her sixth FOW award this year.

Which gives Baylor a probable sweep for player of the year and freshman to. But Seanna will be all freshman team and Hallie will obviously be firs team Big 12.

Agree. I think Jadda has a better-that-decent shot at the all-freshman team as well. I wonder what the precedent is for multiple players from one school to make that list? She's more than deserving if you look at the weekly awards and overall stats for the season.

15 weeks, 16 winners, and only four different players have won. That has to be very unusual. It also makes both Seanna and Jadda shoo-ins for the all-freshman team.

From 06-08 it was the all-rookie team (including transfers). Since 09, it's been the all-freshman team. In those eight total years, never has a school placed multiple players on the team in the same season. I'm actually a bit surprised at that.

If the voters actually looked at how the freshman do their jobs, Seanna would win hands down. nina plays on a team full of very good players which makes it easier for her to do what she does. Seanna has been incredibly consistent regardless of the ups and downs of this team. Thats very tough to do.
