See, even I can give props just as easy as I give out criticism. I was glad to see Cyclone Alley showed up in full force tonight and had the lower levels filled to the top. I was expecting a less than full turnout with the cold weather as an excuse but you guys showed up in force and were loud tonight so thanks for being there and giving the team a boost when they needed it!

As for the public I was disappointed with the turnout for a conference game. My parents came tonight and it was probably the first game they have been to in over 3 or 4 years and my mom made the comment "has is been this less attended a lot lately?" Had to admit that it has been down lately but it should pick up more on the weekend conference games now.

Yup GREAT job students!!! Public, it could have been much better...I was getting nervous about the crowd with about 2 mins before tip, but it managed to fill up pretty decent.

What's this? A positive thread about the students? Blasphemy!

Still, they sounded great on TV! Loved seeing the entire crowd get back into it towards the end there as well. Best I've seen Hilton for an unranked team in a long time.

I agree - great job by the students tonight. Keep it up!

  10. If only our Red shirts were accompanied by Gold hats instead of white. Not a biggie but we looked like Nebraska students tonight!

With the temperatures outside, I think anyone who chose to stay home gets a pass....it was ******* cold!

No, no passes EVER. I don't care if you have to walk through Bo Williams' stiff arm, you still go to basketball games. Even if you have to dig a tunnel from your house to hilton, there's no excuse for missing.

Yeah, I understand not bringing kids but geesh, put on 10 layers of clothing, a stocking hat, and gloves and head out. It's not THAT bad. You wouldn't even feel the cold through that stuff.

I'll chime in too. Students did indeed do a great job. The crowd made a difference tonight, first time in awhile. Maybe not Hilton Magic at it's finest, but it helped and will help get the ball rolling for later games.

The crowd was ok but I would have trouble labeling it even "average" in Hilton standards. I'm guessing it looked better on tv which is a good thing for us!

Its not true Hilton magic until you make the court shake causing free throws to be missed.

Hilton did sound good on the TV. The magic maybe making a comeback. I think it went into hiding vs Neb 4 years ago when Maric went off for 40some points
