They are moving to a new electronic scanning method, and in the little note, it said you could give them to your friends somehow without having to mail them tickets. How would this work? Anybody have any information on this?

Yeah, we got our too! I am a first time MBB season ticket holder... and I love holding that many ISU tickets in my hand at one time... It might as well be $100 bills.

Not sure about the electronic piece, but I am going to check that out.. as many ppl I would like to take with me I would need to mail the tickets too... sounds innovating!!

    -keep.

I'm guessing there is something with Ticketmaster that you could print them off online maybe? Once they are scanned that ticket's barcode probably shows up invalid if you tried to use it again.

Received ours yesterday as well. The walk to Hilton just got shorter with the move to the Captain's level donation.

As for the ability to give the tickets to someone else, my understanding is you can notify the ticket office of transferring the seats to another party and they will hold them at will call.

I have season tix with the I-Cubs through ticketreturn.com.

Their setup -which I imagine is somewhat similar to what Ticketmaster offers, allows you to access your tickets through an online account. In doing so, you can do a print-at-home type of thing pretty much whereever you are (home, work, friends). It also allows you to email your tickets (for print at home) to other people. Upon doing so, however, your printed ticket is voided.

Just a guess as to how it works - but it's a terrific feature.

Has anyone gotten their season tickets yet? It is a little over a week away to opening game and I am still waiting.
