What a class individual. I hope he gets to see a win!

Last weekend during the Baylor game when we were getting whipped he tweeted, "And I was seriously 3rd on this depth chart hahahahaha"

Take it for what its worth. Bet he hopes his teammates do well and I'm sure he respects Iowa State but some of his tweets give the impression that he is quite bitter.

I like to picture CPR, midway through the first half, quietly lurking over to the stands and talking over his shoulder to JB saying "Jared...you, ah...you sure you can't play anymore?"

I'm sure he was frustrated Saturday night just like we all were. And after watching Grant Rohach play for the first time I shared similar thoughts as to how JB would have been behind him this year. I'd be a tad bitter too, especially since he started at QB for some of the best wins in program history.

Who wasn't bitter Saturday night? I'm sure there is a little bitterness, I'd be more surprised if there wasn't any, but if he hasn't gotten over it yet I doubt he'd be at the game.

Say what you want about him, but he's been nothing but a classy dude the whole way through.

That's not exactly what I'd call "classy" if true.

  9. That explains a lot about the transfer. I always felt Rhoads probably endorsed Sam in private and Jared knew he'd be on the bench, barring injury.

  10. Ehh That just means that a RS Freshman QB at Illinois State would be our starter. Think about that.

But in all seriousness it has to do with the Oline and play calling.

If Sam were 100% healthy JB would not be playing, nor would he be able to do anything better with this OL in front of him.

I'm sorry, but JB was terrible in the famous OSU win. He did everything he could to lose that game for us.

I don't miss watching bounce passes. Seriously though, if he couldn't cut the mustard at the other "I-State" then there is no way he'd be higher than 3 here.

Wasn't there someone a couple weeks ago wondering if he needed help? That thread was great.

The cool thing is he will always be the QB that was part of the biggest upset in history.

But as another poster said, it was VERY close to not happening. I just rewatched and after OSU missed the FG, he fumbled and thankfully we recovered. Otherwise, they would have probably ran one play to the middle for a chipshot...he also had a fumble at about the 5 yard line before that. Whew...

Barnett should have been our #2 this year. Don't doubt he would have seen time with an injured SR.
