It's too bad they are going to split the votes...

I'm calling 8 wins. Is that enough hype?

If we don't end up with at least 8 wins, fire CPR. There...just saved 90% of you from needing to post.

No reason we can't be a bowl team. Should have beat Te$as, shore things up against UNI-D3 school. And grab 1 more. I think 6 is a reasonable expectation, and cut the blow out losses.

Question now is does Mess get canned?

I am expecting a bowl team as well. Way too much experience to not bowl. Coaching will be under the microscope all year and should be. Go Cyclones!

Need to bowl, and I think we will.

This one was a real hope-builder. Things went from words to actuality. Still room to grow, but we should be back to bowling next year.

No kidding. This offense could be incredible next year if Grant continues to improve. With the receiving corps we will have, we will have many mismatched where he can just throw it up for grabs. And we still have two great running backs with experience returning. Next year could be the year of our offense!

We are 3 players and a bit of depth away from a special year next season. Believe it or not I think we are in good shape on offense. Just need a pass rushing DE, a stud middle LB and a safety and I think we can finish in the upper half of the Big 12. Kool Aid tastes good!

If we don't stub our toe against UNI, and finish the job against Texas and TCU, we're bowling this year.

Shore up the offense and there's no reason to believe we won't be a bowl team next year.

Before this season started I thought 4-8 this year and 8-4 next year. I'm not as comfortable with 8 as this season concludes but definitely think we'll be bowling and still think next year has a chance to be special.

One thing I'll be interested to see is if we sell out season tickets again. I'd put it at a 60% chance right now. We will at least get close.

We'll find out how much of this year was injuries/inexperience vs. lack of talent/poor schemes. The one thing I know is the players still believe in and play hard for coach Rhoads and credit is due for keeping the team focused and building some momentum into the offseason.

You know what they say about when you assume...or, maybe you don't?

Missouri and Auburn were a combined 2-14 in the SEC last season and look where they are this year. Anything is possible ... even in Ames!!!

It doesn't take me long to get on the hype train. (I do love me the kool-aid)

I'm hoping that this recruiting class pans out, and with the amount of returning players, I think next year COULD amount to something very special.
