As a seasoned RAGRBAI veteran, I can tell you BLUEBERRY is the correct answer.

Thanksgiving is always a slice of pumpkin, cherry, and apple for me.

But my favorite of all time is peach pie... I would do dirty things for a peach pie every week.

cherry cheesecake is the correct answer

but cherry, peach, or black raspberry are all delicious options.

Apple crisp>apple pie.

All are much better than that gross pumpkin and pecan stuff!

Personal favorite is pecan..

Every year on the day before Thanksgiving I bake 8-10 pies (pecan x 3, pumpkin x 2, mincemeat, apple, peach or cherry, chocolate silk and cheescake. I have to bake 3 pecan pies because one inevitably disappears that night, especially if one or more of my kids arrive that day with their families.

My husband claims I'm un-American because I hate pumpkin pie.

Chocolate pie FTW....but slowly liking peach pie more and more.

My aunt makes a pecan bourbon pie with chocolate chips. Outstanding.

I was once in a small town somewhere in Iowa working and we went to a diner that had a pecan bourbon chocolate pie that was perhaps the very best thing I have ever ate. I don't remember the town...somewhere in southeast or east central Iowa.

I'm just not a fan of pumpkin. I might eat a piece if that's all there is and there is Cool Whip or Redi-whip to cover it in.

I used to love apple the best but seems to me most of the apple pies made anymore are too sweet. I like a bit of tartness to offset the ice cream on top.

I only eat fresh peaches. Don't like 'em canned or especially cooked.

I pretty much favor cherry pie these days. Warmed with a bit of vanilla ice cream on top.

I have two question for you:

1. Do you use lard for your shortening?
2. If the answer is yes to question #1, are you looking to adopt or at least on the day of Thanksgiving?

Shortening, but don't knock it until you've tried my crust.

We usually have around 20 or so adults and a multitude of ankle-biters...one or two more wouldn't hurt. :)
