How many did we have on Sat. night? It seemed like a ton and at crucial times of the game. At least that was the case in the first half if I remember correctly.

There were plenty in the second as well. That's what happens with young receivers. Even RJ dropped a sure touchdown.

I thought this was a "coming of age" post at first.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, it happened to me around 13 or so, your time will come

Oh, but I guess I don't remember too many dropped balls. Now overthrown passes is another story, but dropped ones I don't remember.

Methinks SedJ and Darks left the stick-um at home this week. There were a lot of tough throws for them to catch, but most were dropped. Hopefully that's something that gets cleaned up with play and experience, but it was ugly on Saturday.

The receivers didn't do a great job of helping out our QB at times. However, there were some passes that sailed or were behind the receiver too.

And Bryce is 100% correct. RJ dropped a key pass too.

Are you talking about the one late in the 4th? I am trying to remember if I missed one. That one in the 4th was on Arnaud, not Summral he barely got one hand on it and it was well overthrown.

The ball was slightly overthrown, but catchable.

Which could be said about a lot of the drops from Saturday night.

RJ would have had to stop and jump to make that catch, which might have impeded his momentum. Not sure you could call it a "sure touchdown", but definitely a big play.

Maybe the compilation of being down 3 touchdowns made it seem like we had 20 dropped balls oppose to just a couple...Anyway yes, some of the passes were not the greatest but these guys are division 1 athletes for a reason. I know some days are just not your day but it seemed like we dropped more than usual.

I was surprised at the number of balls that were dropped or over thrown. If half of those get caught it's a different game. I honestly think that was the difference in the game.

Some of the ISU guys were flat wide open with an acre of green turf in front of them. The UNLV secondary is suspect at best, but no team (besides Utah) has exploited it. I think it's poor preparation on the opposing staff part.

Catchupable if Sumrall made a Top Ten plays of the week highlight catch.

At the top of his jump, he had the fingertips of one hand barely touching a ball that was thrown like a frozen rope. That one is on the QB in my opinion.

Cue the poster from yesterday who kept saying Darks and Sed need to be benched...

I was disappointed with how many overthrown balls that Arnaud had. There were many opportunities that with a good throw would have definitely made for an entirely different game. He seemed too jacked or something.

I thought the announcers said it was pretty windy for the game. I thought I remembered UNLV having to hold the ball on the opening kick. That would have a lot to do with our passing game.

It was also his second start ever on the road. He also made some very nice throws, too. He'll get better...and so will our receivers.

Also, how nice is it to see RJ get some touchdowns this year? He didn't have any for his career coming into this season, and now he has four. Good for him. Hope it continues!

The receivers will get used to catching Arnaud's passes as he will get more and more reps in practice and games. He throws the ball harder than Bates

Dropped balls, bad line play, bad passes, not so good running back play, poor D, Dropped punts. I think even though all those are true SOME of the time.. we have improved from last year. Thats all I can ask for. Last year we were 1-3. This year 2-2.

We have shown some really nice signs... but have a long way to go. We have been only 7-5 in some of the best years of ISU football recent history. Getting much above that will take a lot of work. Give Chizik time.
