on another note, Boulware being hired was made official to Auburn today, He was good on special teams, but wasnt the greatest RB coach

He would be a stellar hire as well...and I like this game of taking Auburn's former coaches

Any word on other coaches that are staying or maybe going to Auburn.

And despite a poor season for Auburn, defense was not one of the weaknesses and has not been.

I think that Coach Dunn would be a good get as well.

Sorry but my opinion is to see Coach Alford come back as RB coach.

I would expect Chizik to put a good staff together. He certainly learned what not to do at Iowa State, and has plenty of money to work with. He also should realize he HAS to win in two years, and be over .500 this coming year. It's a very short leash.

Gene learned from his mistake the first time. Don't make the easy hire. PR is doing it right the first time, getting Herman in here.

    Dunn and Price

Might be a strong advantage for our defense to have our DL handled by two veteran coaches who worked together in the same roles at Auburn for a number of years:

    Kenny Price - DEs
Don Dunn - DTs and NTs

Judging from the past ISU's d-line could use a lot of coaching. Hopefully this year we can see some pressure on the QB by just rushing 4 at a time. Only time will tell.

If Dunn comes to ISU doesn't that pretty much mean that Bolt is gone??? Not that I'm complaining but he was a recruiter of a couple good kids....
