    Hopefully this link works

I thought this was a good article. I am not by any means saying that the offense hasn't been flat. They have moved the ball but they can't finish drives consistantly. But I have read a lot of Threads that are all over the offensive play calling, this is a prospective that might be worth considering.

I can't read the article yet by the lead in paragraph I can see...it's in line with the point I've been making.

The offense (playcalling) is somewhat being handcuffed by our defense.

Pretty obvious they are talking about the last minute and half of the first half in running out the clock. They had the same problem at Big Red whereby 16 of 18 first plays were like 2 yard runs. Nebraska felt they just wanted to keep it close and not hurt their qb before the Big North began. They did not even throw to their best receivers. 5 of 8 completions were to the backs. Cody Glenn did not run the ball. Sad and bad at same time. So Iowa State and Nebraska both played weird on offense playcalling. The defense definitely needs more depth for the end of the game. The Clone receivers need to put their bodies more between the receiver and the ball more than they did on Saturday. Three times they were shocked to drop the ball when the short Hawk guys punched it away. Plus no one is talking about the preliminary bumps that were not called by the refs. Which conference did the refs come from?

LMAO! Please...don't be like the Hawks and start the ref crap.

FYI - the officials for the game Saturday were from the Big 12. The replay officials were from the Big 10.
