Nebraska is currently 2 games out of 2nd and 3 games out of 1st with the following games remaining. When was the last time they finished above .500 in the Big 12?

    vs. Penn St.
    vs. Purdue
    at Illinois
    vs. Northwestern
    at Indiana
    vs. Wisconsin

At first I lol'd. Then I looked at the standings and that cake remaining schedule and 2nd to 4th place seems very possible. If Iowa loses tonight they have a favorable position given that schedule

Indiana sucks again. I wonder how long Crean is going to last this time around.

It's actually still possible for Nebraska to win the Big Ten. That is very unlikely, but I agree that 2-4 is real possibility.

He likely gets two more years, but with Clark visiting in early March, we can always hope.

shows how much uneven scheduling can affect conference races. Played Iowa, MSU, Wisc, and Minnesota only once.

The only tough game is the last one. And it is senior day. Go Miles.

Which is why 10 teams seems to be a nice number. Double round robin makes for a fair regular season champ.

Maybe. Looks like OSU and Baylor will self destruct by the end....they had high hopes and talent and round robin will send them maybe to the graveyard....so, the other side of the coin is you can be good and end up NIT material.

I haven't really thought about how the addition of mighty Rutgers and Maryland affects basketball. Seemed like Hoks get easier division in football, I suppose they do in basketball too?

Well Rutgers just lost 102-54, so if they are in Hawks division then yes
