College women's wrestling comes to the state

    Waldorf College in Forest City will start a women's wrestling club program this fall, the first four-year school in Iowa to do so, according to this news release. Waldorf.edu - Wrestling

    Because it's embarrassing for arguably the premier state for college wrestling (and one of the best for high school wrestling) to NOT have it.

    The growth of women's wrestling may help the entire sport avoid the axe.
