Just a heads up...Carlson is now eligible. Hicks is however done for the year.

Be nice to see Carlson chase down kicks or something this year.

Does anyone in the know think Carlson will contribute? We were excited about him last year and he didn't really contribute as we expected.

    Seems weird to me, too.

If this happened in Iowa City, I'd have a skeptical look on my face right now.

In the original post way back when, it was mentioned that appeals for Summer semester aren't heard until the start of Fall term. It's not hard to figure out that, for example, an appeal succeeded, or an Incomplete was finished.

I'm thinking that the answer could have been given without the attitude. I was equally curious.

From what I know, Carlson was deemed ineligible due to some sort of transcript issue. He has since filed an appeal and won his eligibility back.

Academically Ineligible. We thought Carlson was too, but it seems have been remedied in his case.

Note: I nearly spelled Academically wrong.

Carlson would be buried on the depth chart behind Reynolds, Sed, Marquis, Darks, etc.

Speaking of Sed, how is that ankle of his? Are we expecting to see him back this weekend?

Seeing we run 3 and 4 receiver sets that might make him second string. You are right, buried!

Any update on Darks? He didn't look 100% last game--need him and Sed 100% this weekend.

We had walkon Jake Williams playing last week. I've got to assume Carleson is ahead of him.

Except that Jake (and Joel Zitek) aren't walkons any more.

I know--I'm wondering if he is back to 100%. He didn't look very good last game.
