Looks like Cael wants to make some money here. According to the Ames Tribune, Sanderson has bought 4 new duplexes by the west Ames Hy-Vee, for a total price of $644,000:

"Reached for comment, Sanderson provided few details about his plans for the properties. 'Ames is a great city with an excellent future,' he said in an email. 'I have strong ties and friends in the community and that won’t change.'"

Good for him. Ames is a fantastic community to invest in real estate. Rental market in Ames is literally booming and getting stronger.

Why would he even want to own rental units in Ames? Maybe it isn't kosher for a Penn State coach to rent to students in State College, PA.

Can you imagine Cael showing up to collect overdue rent? I think he could be quite intimidating, even before putting you in a headlock.

i think a good point is here unless you have cash money its almost impossible to buy investment property in Ames.

Really you should only buy investment properties if you have the cash in hand. if you have to pay a bank interest I don't think your ROI is worth it.

also glad to see Cael win 4 in a row with Iowa State recruits tonight ... Ugh.

There wasn't one. Pat Smith won 4, but he had a year off in there because the NCAA shut Oklahoma State down for a year.

If they are the 4 on the north side of Lincolnway just west of HyVee they are dumps. At least they were 33 years ago.
