I've heard that the new staff is cutting him loose.......any truth to that?
Cutting him loose? He just signed with Iowa.
I had heard he de-committed and is going to Iowa now...I don't know whether he had a chizdick crush or the coaching staff let him go
I don't think it's the new staff cutting him loose but him wanting out now that Chizik is out.
Maybe verballed with Iowa, but I heard the new staff cut him loose for looking around during a committed status.
Sounds like a spin.
How about a trade? They can have Bofelli and we will take the Van Sloten kid they have. His dad played at ISU and from what I heard he wanted to come here but Chiz did not offer.
not a big loss at all. this kid wants to play TE and he would be far to slow to play in the spread for us. and i heard iowa wants him as an OL and well, after watching him play the last few years, i just dont think hes that good
He will be a better OL then the kid going to Michigan State, but Wood will be better than both...
Ahh, the classic "we didn't want him anyway" in progress.
I'd put a lot of money on this happening
kid can't look into the camera anyways...enjoy gettin pounded by state if he is a Hawk
whats he lookin at down here?
Committed you mean, you can't sign till signing day.
If he has no desire to be a clone or is unsure than he should go. If he wants to be with us then it is sad for him to go.
I dont blame the new coaching staff for cutting him loose...the kid is way too slow for big 12 play...Rhoads would be better off to go into texas and recruit the 5th best player, which would be better than anything from the state of iowa!!!!:biglaugh::biglaugh:
I wish him luck....I fully expected a defection or two..
This would mean Lichtenburg is gone then.
Maybe it is a female photographer?
He didn't want to wear his ISU gear outside the house due to the season we were having....other than the hawks on this board, I don't know a single other person that would say that who is a Cyclone, and based on that comment alone, he can get on the nearest bus. If you aren't man enough (granted he isn't 40) to commit to a school and wear their colors with some pride regardless of the record, you more than likely are going to quit when the going gets tough.
The posters here are delusional.
Unbelievable. This kid never "quit" anything in his life. He is a good kid that was attracted to ISU by a coach who "quit" on us.
Go get signed up for the Iowa board for all of you who now say "he is not good enough for us". Their good at that over there!
Bofelli would have been a good addition to our team and I will always wish good kids, good luck.
