I heard that too, quite a jump from a MAC position coach... Maybe it's as OL coach? Even that would be a big promotion...

That doesn't make sense, going from tackles/te coach at Akron...

He would have worked with Rhoads at Pitt in 2004.

He would make sense to me as a position coach, but not as OC.

Don't know him. From reading his bio sounds like he has a lot of experience...they must know each other from Pitt??? Time will tell.

Every team normally has 2-4 assistant head coaches... It doesn't really mean anything...

Looks like PR would have worked with him both at Pitt in 2004 as well as very closely at Pacific when PR was pass game coordinator in 1994

I have a feeling Ohio is going to become a pipeline state for us under Rhoads, he recruited a lot from that state at Pitt, Bleil could recruit there too.

No way we can pull consistant recruits from Ohio, doesn't make sense, most Big XII games aren't even televised there...

    whoa

let's take a deep breath and realize this may be a very long rebuilding process for coach Rhoads. This Bill Bleil fellow seems like he would be getting a phenomenal promotion, but it doesn't really matter until 2011 or so. also, we have our first theme for the coaching staff; he looks like a farmer just like Rhoads.
