I would also figure that the Big12 powers that be took into account the average home attendance of the north teams vs the south teams these last few years. KU, ISU, KST have all done a great job showing up.

There goes the myth that the Big 12 wouldn't hold the tournament in a state where they don't have a team.

KC is trying to support BIG12 whatever way they can and giving middle finger to the own state they are located in.

Glad Big12 is keeping bball tourney in my back yard!

If you go, you HAVE to go on Thursday. Just an awesome atmosphere across the street at the Power & Light District. Unbelievable.

The Kansas schools have also been taking efforts over the last year to really claim KC as their market since Mizzou defected.

A couple others I have seen.

Woo hoo! I just checked and it is a direct flight for me (unlike my trips to Iowa).

And I should be able to get tickets to the game I would think.

never been to the tourney myself but am next year. My buddy has the time of his life and my dad went to the game vs. UT this past year and had a blast as well and was able to score awesome tickets...

    I hope we are a 2 seed or higher!!!:spinny:

I look forward to you coming but, Georges' mom has to bake cookies for the entire section you are sitting in. :jimlad:

How would me, making cookies for the section I am sitting in, benefit you?

You might want to check where the final four location is and book your tickets for that as well. :v_SPIN:
