Nice representation by ISU on that team. Too bad they couldn't fit Jesse on there. He had seven tackles, one tackle for loss, one pass break-up, and a forced fumble to seal the deal.

Jesse is awesome, but I think he getting credit for the fumble when he shouldn't...

Is Jesse just hidden? It looks like Garrin and Smith.
    It's pic 19.

Jesse punched the ball out earlier in the play.

Jesse caused the fumble before that picture when Gray ran into the line. Jesse reached through and knocked the ball loose. Garrin and James Smith tackled him after the ball was on the ground and he was trying to get it back.

It was Jesse. That picture doesn't show it. I'm fairly certain that Garrin and James Smith are essentially tackling Gray after he had already lost the ball. If you watch the play from the game you can see it on the replay.

Also, on the official stats during the game, no one was given credit for forcing that fumble. So, Jesse doesn't have that in his stats when a lot of these post game write-ups are being done, so if they didn't watch the game they are probably just assuming the ball was basically dropped by Gray.

I think this is what's happening, because in most of the write-ups I have seen, they credit Benton for recovering the fumble, but not Jesse for forcing it, even though the poke was plainly visible on the broadcast.

Ok, I thought it was Jesse, but I didn't see him in the pic.

I thought it was James Smith or Garrin who knocked it out. I don't know I deleted the game already.
