I see that the ISU Football Forum is a little slow at the moment, so I figured I'd bring everyone's attention back to the test at hand. While it seems weird to me that Jayhak fans refer to themselves as "Hawks" (just lazy?), they fact remains that they do, so this will be our second opportunity this season to beat "Hawks"

Now, I know that for most of us, beating Iowa would have been more satisfying than beating annual lowlife Kansas. However, roles have changed, and I have to point out that while beating Iowa would have been great, beating these Hawks would be even better. After all, it would not only be a conference win, but these Hawks are ranked 18th, and a win at home, not to mention in front of recruits, and on some version of national TV, would be immense for the program. I fully expect the Jack to be rockin on Saturday!

So. that said, who would you rather beat? Iowa? Or Kansas?

I'd rather discussion of Iowa be relegated to next year. As far as playing them, that is. Discussing their mounting losses is fine but we already played them and can't play them again.

Guess I phrased it wrong, but my point was to try to get attention off Iowa in the rear view mirror, and on the immediate Hawks in the windshield.

Just for you, I tried to edit in a "Nebraska Sucks" option, but couldn't.

AM I the only person astonished that Tech didn't manage to score more points on Nebby? Obviously they have a very inexperienced quarterback.

Jayhawks first, though. Plenty to occupy our attention right there.

We definitely need to focus on Kansas. The Iowa game is over. Granted, I hated losing to them as I always do, but this year, the sting of that UNLV game is the one that won't leave me alone this year. The loss to Iowa, other than that day, didn't bite that bad. I've been saying since it's inception, that yeah, beating Iowa is fun, but, winning the Big XII North and getting to that title game is what it's all about. The Iowa fans I know refuse to believe this, but, I put their game at about 4th or 5th on the importance list for this season. Behind Nebraska, Baylor, A&M, and probably KState. These are all games that I believe we have a chance of winning. And as far as our in conference perception goes, are much more important.
