Curious as to what everyone else thinks. I don't have the best feeling about this game.

82-75 Iowa State. I don't think that Baylor can beat us. They are a good team but they just don't play well against us.

We win and then we all go over to chuckd4735's house and taunt him.

Until then, consider yourself publicly reprimanded, chuckd4735, if that is your real pseudo.

I predict we will miss more than 12 threes. But we will still have a shot to win.. It's Baylor.

I think we can take Baylor. We play our game and we will win. If we play stupid or get colder then a penguin at the bottom of the ocean in Antarctica then we will lose.

Baylor can't stop ISU, even if ISU loses I expect to score 80+ points.

That said, I think ISU will win. Something like 84-78.

I predict that we play good enough to win except for lack of contribution from the non-starters and we lose a close one. If others step up we can beat anyone but until they do, on the road, I won't predict it.

Baylor is desperate. Senior night. Officiating? (ie no kickers offsides on onside kicks, tuck rules, etc. ;) )

To overcome the above, I think we need to beat them on the boards, stay out of foul trouble, and shoot better than 70% from the free throw line, 35% from three and 50% in the paint. In other words, if we bring our A game then we can win. Anything less will probably require Baylor to have an off night, and I wouldn't expect that to happen given the circumstances.

Baylor gets something like 40% of the boards on offense. If we can keep them off of the offensive glass, we win.

    That being said:

    ISU: 76
    BU: 85

People are acting like this team can't win because they lost to KSU in a close game in the road where they hot horrible. No one has beat KSU at their place this year.

Baylor is not KSU and ISU will want this game just as much as Baylor. I also think Baylor just can't match up well with ISU.

Predicting a loss isn't the same as saying they can't win.

I don't feel super great about it. ISU does not have a very positive track record in Waco. My initial gut feeling is a WVU-like clobbering, in fact.

Maybe what's more likely to happen is ISU trails most of the game, makes a few plays near the end to cut the deficit to one possession, and then Ejim bizarrely gets called for being offsides on an onside kick, which is his 5th foul, and the Clones lose 84-81 when Kane is called out at home plate as time expires.

I think Baylor wins this game because they are playing better than they have been and we don't shoot very well on the road. That said, I'm still going to predict the ISU victory cuz I can:

If ISU can play the fast paced game they played in Ames ISU will win. The key to beating Baylor is rendering their bigs useless and the #1 way to do that is run the floor often. We must force turnovers that lead to fast break points..
