I saw somewhere they only lose 1 offensive starter and 1 defensive starter after this year. Is this correct? That is a scary thought if true.

This is what I've been thinking ever since that 1st half output last night (600+ yds - are you kidding?!). I really hope that he is hired by the NFL or goes to some place like USC (out of Big XII territory).

Hopefully he isn't allowed to. Anywhere but the Big 12

The 10s of Baylor fans would be devastated.

I don't see what other jobs would be a big step up for him that will be open. ÃŽ don't see him as a USC guy.

He'll stay at Baylor. They are opening a brand new stadium next year too. I think he might have it stuck on automatic in Waco.

I really think Briles likes it at Baylor. I think he might be there to stay sadly.

The first action by the new Texas AD would be to buy a Waco sized burnt orange tarp that says "this is Longhorn country" and have it installed by Texas Air National Guard Chinooks over the whole town.

I really don't think he'll be in Austin. Head coaches don't usually jump to other HC jobs in the same conference unless they are fired. USC seems more likely.

Jack Del Rio is USC bound.

If Briles is leaving, he's going to Texas.

Briles to UT would be good for us. A decent hire by Texas will likely be one that will beat us most years anyways, but much like KSU after Snyder retires again, Baylor will likely drop once more once Briles leaves. Of course itd be even better if he just left the conference entirely when doing so.

Briles at Texas would be scary.
