I think it comes down to Stinnet, Mcfarland, Bocot, and Montrell Clark for 2007. I am sure there are a couple that we don't know about.

Also in 2008 If we get Eikmeir (who is now working out with a personal tainer to put weight on) and Negadu I think we are in serious business.

    What do you all think.

Also Elijah Johnson in 2009 would be a great catch for us also.

Still hoping for Stinnet & McFarland - that would make a great class. After that it sounds like we are set through 2008.

Jeremy, any follow up info on McFarland yet? Is Stinnet still planning to be here on the 21st?

Are we really in on Negadu? I've seen his name thrown around, but I've never been given the impression that we're actually in on him.

We are moving up on Negadu's list. Currently in the top 4 or 5 and rising.

McFarland is looking more and morelikely to go to Idaho but it's not done yet.

Stinnett still favors ISU but there's no telling what he'll end up doing as of this moment. I like our chances but it's a hard one to judge.

I am not sure how much we are in on him. I know he lists us as top 5. I know Hawk fans are saying he likes them the best. I think if we get Stinnet and or Mcfarland or both it would make us move up a lot seing is how 3 guys from the same school can recruit him for us. That is my dream anyway.

I am sure there are others in the 2008 class that McD has on his wish list.

Yeah, it would be nice if the Brewster connection could sway Negedu, but we'll see what happens. Who knows.

I don't think ISU has serious interest in Montrell Clark.

That would be too many Clarks and Johnsons on the same roster.

A disappointment not to land Walker, but who would have thought we would have gotten a 5* in Brackens, taking in account GMac's late start in recruiting. It Stinnet commits it will be a great class, if not I'm still happy.

What about Brackens and Garrett??? They both have signed with Clones; and why is no one talking about them?

I hope we can sign Stinnett because he is a tremendous athlete and to keep our connection with Brewster strong. I think Negedu is or was favoring Iowa because two of his Indiana AAU teammates have committed there. He plays for Indiana Elite. I am hoping that if we can sign Stinnett that maybe the same thing will sway him to ISU with having Brackens there as well. He and Brakens will probably both be on the floor in the paint together at the same time for Brewster. He also played with Dunson for one year. Being from another country, and not having any family here may be a factor in swaying him to go where some of his teammates are going. That has already proven the case with his interest in Iowa. I hope Stinnett's visit goes well next weekend.
