On ESPN this morning the question was raised.....

If you could put only "One Athlete" in a all Sports Hall of Fame who would it be....? Who is the most deserving Athlete of all time...? Plenty of names come to mind Babe Ruth, Pele', Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Jim Thorpe.....

    What would be your choice....?

    Ruth.
His name is baseball. The American Past Time. While the NFL is larger, no name is larger nor has as much staying power.
His numbers were not touchable when he was playing. He was so far beyond his era.
No other athlete came close to the sheer dominance in their respective sport.

It would have to be a multi-sport threat like Bo Jackson, Jim Thorpe, or Mike Jordan. Scratch Mike - his baseball days were a disaster.
