Masoli to win appeal per ESPN

Wow, so its true...the NCAA hates ISU the most.

Edit: to clarify. I'm just sick of ISU never getting good outcomes from NCAA decisions.

Also per ESPN. Just saw it on College Football Live. I don't see where you go off talking about us though. Ole Miss had a legitimate argument here.

I am smart in some ways and dumb in a lot other ways. I am ignorant concerning this issue. Could you explain for an athletic knowledge challenged person like myself?

That's what I thought it was completely different scenarios. Didn't Masoli graduate from Oregon which would leave him free to do whatever he wanted.

It's part of the 'woe is us' philosophy that some of this fanbase believes in. The world is out to get Iowa State, didn't you know?

Masoli graduated. He shouldn't have had to appeal it period but the "doing the best for the student-athletes" NCAA royally screwed up his first ruling.

The only reason he left Oregon was to avoid punishment, I dont care one way or the other but using the fact he graduated is kinda shady.

    Yeah... exactly.

In all seriousness, these are 2 different cases. Masolli graduated from Oregon, and he is "pursuing" a graduate degree in a field that's not offered at Oregon. It's pretty clear that he's abusing the system and the rule, but the rule is the rule. If you wanted a connection to Iowa State, we have a wrestler that just transferred from Arizona State using the same rule. This is not like the Royce situation at all. Unless your connection is that it involves a transfer and the NCAA... in which case... you technically have a point.
