Re: Predictions: Final Picks for 2010

6-6 (4-4) with wins over Northern Illinois, K-State, UNI, Kansas, Colorado, and Mizzou. ISU will have a 4 game losing streak in October, but by November the defense will be vastly improved and ready to make some hay against the North. ISU will finish the year winning 3 out of the final 4 and putting a scare into Nebraska.

Re: Predictions: Final Picks for 2010

You want to know what I think Chris? I think Chris, that you, are a copycat. I too am picking the Cyclones to go 6-6 with wins over the 6 teams Chris also picked.

    Northern Illinois-W
    Iowa-L
    Kansas State-W
    Northern Iowa-W
    Texas Tech-W
    Utah-L
    Oklahoma-L
    Texas-L
    Kansas-W
    Nebraska-L
    Colorado-W
    Missouri-L

Cyclones pickup a couple of votes for a top 25 ranking after beating Texas Tech and starting the season 4-1, but then trail off after having to play Utah, Oklahoma, and Texas in back-to-back-to-back weeks.

I posted my thoughts in detail for the 2010 football season a couple of weeks ago:

    NIU W 27-17
    Iowa L 30-14
    K-State W 21-13
    UNI W 37-10
    Tech L 36-21

    KU W 38-17
    NU L 21-14
    CU W 23-17
    Mizzou L 34-24

7-6(3-5) after a bowl win You could trade the upset of Utah with NU, MU, UI, or TT. I think we'll beat one of them, and Utah is probably our best shot.

    6-6 (4-4)

I think Iowa State and Missouri are the 2 teams to give Nebraska a run this year. Because Missouri goes to Ames, I give the win to Iowa State. 6 wins gets them to a bowl, and the 4 confence wins will be very impressive when you consider the fact they may be facing the 3 best teams in the South.

I can see there total wins ranging from 3 to 8.
    Overall a good season.

    NIU W 31-17
    @Iowa L 10-28
    KSU W 24-10
    UNI W 42-7
    TT L 28-35
    Utah W 28-24 OT

    KU W 45-14
    Neb L 14-17
    @CU W 31-21
    Mizzou L 28-42

These are my predictions. I believe this is pretty realistic. Hopefully we can get another win or two from Tech, Nebraska, Mizzou or Iowa (in order of likelihood). But for now 6-6, followed with a bowl victory

    Copycat.

Under this scenario, the Mizzou game is HUGE. ISU would be 5-6 at home on senior day in the last game of the year. Yeah, JTS could be loud that day, especially if its a night game.

Re: Predictions: Final Picks for 2010

If we get off to a good start against NI I think we win at least six games, so 6-6 minimum.
If the Offense has as good a year as they are capable of AND the defense is as good as last year(I think by the end of the year they'll be better) we could pick up two more wins for an 8-4 season.

    NI - W
    UI - L
    KSU - W
    UNI - W
    TT - W
    Utah - L
    Texas - L
    Ok - L
    Kan - W

4-8, wins against NI, UNI, Kansas, Kansas State. My gut tells me they will do better, but I've been on a diet, so it's telling me a lot of things.
