    Miller vs me in prediction.

I'll say the cyclones will go 7-5 this year with a bowl win to finish 8-5 ----- and I'm open to any takers on an even bet that my prediction is closer to reality than J. Miller's hok prediction!!! A tie nullifies the bet. Any takers?? email at "rebehard28@yahoo.com" or plz comment here.

I agree! I think we beat Northern Illinois, Uni, Kansas State, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, and Missouri.

Didn't Miller put us at 6-6? That's not really a bad outlook for ISU given our schedule. It could even mean that we only lost to ranked teams all season.

If we finish 6-6 with the nation's #1 schedule (no way it won't be top 10) we'd probably be ranked in the 40s in computer rankings. I think we finished 66th last year in Sagarin after the bowl win.

I don't take issue with the 6-6 prediction for the Cyclones, but I'm laughing my ace off about 12-0 for Iowa. It's not like they were a convincing 11-2 last year, they could have easily lost 5-6 games. If Iowa has another 11-2 season people should be calling Ferentz a genius, not acting like he didn't meet expectations.

I'll gladly take that bet if my winning stake were that you couldnt hijack every single Cubs thread with your silly little hate jabs.

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Re: Miller vs me in prediction.

Northern Illinois, UNI, Colorado, K-State and KU are games we should be able to win...who knows if we'll pull it off. Texas, Oklahoma and Iowa are road games we can honestly throw out as likely losses.

The key is we got Utah, Texas Tech, Mizzou and Nebraska all at home. I like our chances at Jack Trice against all four but am smart enough to know we're not going to beat all four. A split would be HUGE

I'd be thrilled with a 7-5 season and a decent bowl trip
