    Alexander Robinson

I normally don't advise anyone to read the Waterloo courier but this article made me think dose the Athletic Department pay for Robinson's Massages.

as an athletic trainer cast-off (hopefully back in program in the spring) we perform "athletic" massages. Trust me they are not pleasant at all but are great for repairing tissue and making it stronger.

so to answer... i guess yes the university is paying for them in the way that they pay the salary of the great ATC (Athletic Trainer Certified) people we have working with our football team.

I know that ISU track has a Massage Therapist who is not a trainer, he has his own business. I don't know if he donates his time(I doubt it) or if he is paid by athletics. I will ask him today.

    Re: Alexander Robinson

My uncle is a massage therapist with his own business in the twin cities. He travels with the U of Minnesota track team and the university pays him. Probably a similar set up for A rob.

    Really?

Athletic trainers do it. They aren't sending A Rob to 2nd Avenue for massages.

Made #12 on Pat Forde's top small running backs list. Looks like a little more love for A-Rob.
