    sound system problem

have a receiver but one of the speakers no longer works. actually the problem is the receiver. both speakers work in the 'A' output, but neither work in the 'b' output. if i adjust the volume both outputs work, but as soon as i let go of the volume knob the 'b' speaker stops.

seems like there must be a bad connection? any ideas on how i can fix this. don't have a lot of money to just go buy another unit.

does it cut out when Jeff Johnson yells "POWER" too loud? If so you should team up with the Jack Trice people to figure this out.

On older systems, we used to spray some cleaner in the volume knob, and a lot of times that would clean it and make it work. Not sure if that still works on newer stuff.

There is electronics contact cleaner specifically for this purpose. Radio Shack has it, and other electronics stores probably have it too. I get mine at Fry's.
