the same could be said for Valley, but for different reasons.

These were pretty bad. Destroyed a lot of property. Football Equipment, mowers, press box, etc. They have video of it so it should make it easy to figure it out. Practice fields were damaged pretty bad after one of the storms a couple weeks ago when someone drove donuts on them. Very deep ruts that have had us moving practice to different locations on campus.

Similar stuff happened to us when I went there back in the mid 80's. VHS in orange paint, Varsity lockers broken into, just childish stuff. (no fires that I recall)

I've come across some odd people lately that definitely wouldn't surprise me if they would relive high school vandalism.
Just the other day, a guy noticed my coaching shirt, then proceeded to tell me about how he got screwed by his hs coach in '86.

Yes!!! The super, principal, and vice-plotted all summer to pull this one off! They actually used the chemistry teacher to help them come up with the best accelerant!

Jump on Valley? Jeeeeeezus people these are high school kids!!! High school kids. It was the ******* district that planned these crimes? Ke-rist get some ******* perspective folks!!!!! I pulled a few pranks as a kid-I promise the school had nothing to do with the keg we hung!!!! Rivalry game aside -this is a group of high schoolers.

As far as depth goes though, the combination of White, Woodbury, Olaseni, Basabe, and Uthoff is much better than Niang, Ejim, Edozie, Gibson. Not because of the top 2, but because of the next 2 or 3. -DeanVogs

It was a fire. I would be irate if I was involved in administration at Valley if there is a possibility of students being involved. TPing trees are one thing but a fire is a prank that is beyond the line.

agree 100%! again, this is the students NOT the district...that was the point I was making. What I quoted said "jump on valley"...Valley didn't do anyting-

Who said the faculty (or district) had anything to do with this?
This was arson... destruction of property, (not a misdemeanor) I agree I think it was some High School kids, but with all your "Jeeeeeezus people" & "Ke-rist" talk, who exactly are you defending? ...and why?

Until theres sufficient evidence its hard to say it was actually valley kids, would i be surprised if it was valley kids? certainly not, but you cant say it was them.

If Valley students did this who do you think the people at Dowling will jump on. If it is proven VHS kids did this Valley is going to get jumped on by people. I could have said Valley students but I intended most people understood what I said.

Yeah, let's just all calm down and wait for the story and video to be released to the public. Then we'll know.

update: Just saw it on KCCI, reporter said at the end "coincidentally Dowling beat Valley earlier last night." (and left it at that) ...kind of an early cheap shot at Valley.
