I believe Jim Rome is also interviewing him tomorrow on his radio show.

I'm going to print out a picture of him crying after the mich st game and ask if he will sign it.

Just kidding, of course. Paul isn't worth the drive from CO.

Why do I not have a good feeling about that...as it relates to ISU.

I keep laughing at the book signing notice I see whenever I go to Borders. I hope he gets what he deserves for his comments, and not have anyone show up.

Re: Shirley In Ames For Book Signing

For a guy with such a high SAT, he's just not too smart. Just one or two positive or faintly fond paragraphs about the state, ISU, his team mates, and his tenure as a Cyclone would have sold a number of copies to Iowa State faithful. But Shirley Paul probably didn't graduate in Marketing.

Re: Shirley In Ames For Book Signing

Some of you seriously need to lighten up and get a life... I am sure the majority of non message board posters actually think Paul is funny and know that what he says about ISU is all in good fun... I know I make alot of the same comments, I guess that makes me a traitor too... Wow, RELAX

Re: Shirley In Ames For Book Signing

I never quite get how everyone can turn on their own after the slightest perceived slight. He had a hardass (albeit a great) coach, and rapid turnover in teammates. I can't blame him for not having great things to say about that, even though I agree with most that the coaching probably made him some cash. He's a Cyclone, whether he likes it or not.

Man alive, some of you need to find some Summer's Eve. I find it hard to believe that NONE of you has ever made fun of Iowa.

    NEVER!!!

I make fun of Iowa but that's just between family and friends. If I had his platform (which is very minor, but still) I would have more class than to diss it. Especially when ISU gave him a chance to play significant minutes, even though he was a stiff with very very little skill.

He said Iowa was cold and boring, it's not that bad. It's not like he said we sodomize sheep, or that Iowa is known for potatoes.
