    Ellis Hobbs benefit

I was watching the video on Tad Ecby and on the side of the screen there was a video with Ellis Hobbs name on it. So I watched it.... its a video of a benefit that he sponsored to support a kid that is paralyzed. Its a really nice video and its great to see a former Cyclone giving back to the community.

    Re: Ellis Hobbs benefit

I talked to Ellis numerous times while he was in school, as I was there at the same time. Of any ISU athlete I have ever talked to he made me feel the least insignificant... if that makes sense. He was genuinely interested in what I had to say and for that he will always be my favorite ISU athlete.

That, and for that final pick against Miami (OH).

Loved Hobbs, he saw a lot while at ISU, highs and lows. He switched positions and gave his all for ISU. Thanks Ellis, classy guy.
