    Percy Harvin Collapses

Just cut in on Sportscenter and said that Percy just collapsed. They said he was running to the practice field, got sick, and then collapsed. Said the trainers worked on him for ten minutes before the ambulance showed up and was rushed to the hospital

    Re: Percy Harvin Collapses

That is to bad. Hope he is o.k. He has had some issues with people dying and Migranes. I am a Packers fan and I can't even feel good about this one. I would rather he just pulled a hammy. Good luck Percy.

In all seriousness, I think the kid may want to hang it up. If he has that big of problem with migraines, well, I don't think that mixes well with the concussion-laden game of football.

    eerie-reminds me of Korey Stringer.

Poor guy has had a bad few weeks, his grandmother died 2 days into camp, then his migranes flared back up, now this.

    Re: Percy Harvin Collapses

He may already have done this, but he might want to get tested for some sort of illness. I would think something has to be causing these weird migraines/wooziness.

I'm surprised doctors haven't shut him down from football for a while.

The brain is incredible thing, I too am a little surprised there was no mention about medicines he'd been taking at least as a prevental. I certainly hope PH is going to be fine.

    Re: Percy Harvin Collapses

Well, that makes me glad I'm keeping Steve Smith instead of Harvin as a keeper in my fantasy football league...

In all seriousness though, that is really troubling to see and read about. I hope that whatever health issues he has get resolved and he can live a healthy life, whether or not that involves football.

    Re: Percy Harvin Collapses

With all of the migraines, makes me wonder if Harvin might have a very small very slow developing brain tumor.

    Hope everything turns out okay.

I'm in no way an expert on migraines in general or Harvin's condition specifically, but those can be a real bear. I know someone who gets them frequently and they're crippling. She's pursued every treatment available all the way up to and including the Mayo Clinic and no one has been able to give her any answers or any permanent relief. It's very sad.

Oh I am sure he already self medicates with it. It wasn't prescribed by a doctor though.... Just some guy that hangs out by their practice facility and looks like this.....

    Re: Percy Harvin Collapses

taking him off my fantasy football list right about.....now.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.
