Volleyball To Play Home Matches At Ames High School
AMES, Iowa – Iowa State’s nationally ranked volleyball team will play its 2010 home schedule at Ames High School after flood waters in Ames damaged Hilton Coliseum last week. The Cyclones’ Wednesday home matches will start at 7 p.m. (they were originally set to begin at 6:30 p.m.) to allow for the high school to clear after school days. All other Iowa State home matches will begin at their originally scheduled times.

What was average attendance for Big 12 games last year? If there are games that a lot more than 2000 would be expected could they maybe see if the Knapp Center or something else in DesMoines is available? or does moving a game to Des Moines make it less likely people go?
I really don't know if most non-revenue sports fans are coming directly from Ames or if they come from all around central Iowa.
2000 fans packing a small gym could actually create a pretty good advantage at times, just win ;-)
