    The expendables

My 13 year old son wants to see the movie. I know it's rated R. Can anyone tell me if it's more than hard core violence,

There are about 20 minutes of storyline in the movie the rest is action, lot's of blood, I don't know on this one, you might want to watch it ahead of time just in case. Since my buddys wife was ticked prety bad that he brought his 11yr old to it

    Re: The expendables

I had a buddy that took a birthday party of about six 10-year-olds to the last Rambo. That went over well.
The kid will probably come out with chest hair.

That was pretty bloody. His moment on the truck mounted gun at the end spilled more blood than all world wars combined.

The new Rambo might have been bloody, but it's got nothing on Hot Shots!

    Re: The expendables

What a giant ****fest of a movie.
I know why Lundgren hasn't been in a decent movie for 15 years; because he's ******* awful, that's why.
I thought the dialogue was the worst Iíve ever heard since The Guardian. Nothing has been so forced and unnatural since Jacko and Lisa Marie's kiss.

    You wimp!

I agree it won't win an Academy Award for Best Picture or Best Acting, but it was a great f***ing movie.

    Re: The expendables

All I was looking for in this movie was catoonish violence and 1 liners like every other awesome 80's action movie. It delivered these in spades.

I'm a big Sly fan, but this movie sucked. He should have put more thought in a storyline, or cast, or maybe both.

The CGI blood and bodies blowing up was awful. Iíve seen my nephew storyboard blood with a crayon that was more realistic. Reaching for emotional moments in a movie like that is a giant waste of time as well. Stick to what it is, Sly. Blow **** up and leave it at that. And, seriously, donít tell me Bruce and Arnold are in the movie when itís for only five seconds.
