    Flood Update?

For those of us not living in Ames, can somebody give me a brief report on what the water levels are currently at? I assume the water has completely receded from the parking lots around Hilton and JTS. What about the intramural fields and grass tailgate lots? Also, are the lots and grassy areas all muddy or just dirty/dead grass.
Oh, and does anybody know the current water level inside of Hilton?

All the standing water is gone. They are currently cleaning out Hilton and the other buildings. Not sure on how long they are saying the cleanup will take though.

They lifted the water volume restrictions. The boil order is still in effect. They finished flushing the system way ahead of the schedule. They took a bunch of samples today.

There is a press conference set for 4pm Sunday. I'm speculating that that will be to announce the lift of the boil order if the samples come back okay.

    Re: Flood Update?

Squaw Creek through my back yard is still about 6' above normal levels, but thats down about 12' from its max on Weds.

ServiceMaster trucks are all around Hilton getting the cleaning started, Parking lots paved and unpaved are clear of water and the Soccer field is clear and I saw some people out there today cleaning it up.
