    Sopranos Finale

That may have been the worst ending of all time.....they will probably turn the real ending into a movie to pad their wallets some more.

    OT. Soprano's

i wouldve had no complaints with the final episode, had they kept plaing the music after the black-out of the final scene.

ps. Soprano's, ill always love you!!!
Take a lil time to reflect on how Tony, Paulie, Silvio, Carmela, Christopher, Meadow, AJ, Curato, and co. have been a part of your life the last 10 years.

I've never watched an episode but am curious how it ended? Any spoilers out there?

    Re: Sopranos Finale

I was pretty ****** right after the show ended, but after talking it over with friends, we came to the consensus that it was the only way the show could have ended. The heart of the show has always been the Soprano family, and it's been an allegory for the American way of life. Pretty brilliant way they kept ramping up the tension in the final scene. And it was one of Paulie's best episodes.

    Re: Sopranos Finale

I would like to go back and watch it again. I think it's full of symbolism that most people don't get (including me) that give clues to how is life will turn out. I think the songs he was looking at on the juke box were the choices he had to make for his life. He ended up with Don't Stop Believin'. At the end of the day be believes in the one thing that his most important to him, his family. But he knows that he will have to live the rest of his life always looking behind his back. I wish they would have showed if Silvio lived or died. Somehow I knew that David Chase wouldn't tie it all up with a nice neat bow. Sopranos movie anyone?

    Re: Sopranos Finale

I, for one, thought it was a very appropriate ending. People are going to complain regardless of how Tony's fate turned out - which is why i think the "life goes on" ending is that much more approprate. It took me a minute to grasp what Chase was going for, but once I got it, it seemed right.

    Re: Sopranos Finale

So i guess the end is that the NY and NJ families are going to finally get along??? I was disappointed that they gave more questions than answers. I guess it fits well into the last 4 years of sopranos where nothing really happend.

    Re: Sopranos Finale

I think Anthony Jr. should have been whacked in the finale, he turned into a whiney baby.

    Re: Sopranos Finale

ok, think about this. Bobbie said in the episode where they were at the cabin. "when it comes, you won't even see it coming."

What if that was actually tony getting whacked when the black screen appeared, what if it was all from tony's view?

    Re: Sopranos Finale

Ok, so I am a total sopranos geek and am still thinking about this ending half a month later. I stumbled on this opinion. Now I am even more convicend that Tony ended up getting whacked. The oranges thing is just too much!

BobHarris.com - Tony Soprano didnít just get whacked; he practically got a funeral
