    Speeding in Minnesota

The police released their July speeding report. Note the "high score" and how the cops knew that was how fast they were going:

lol. I'll bet they were either proud of it, or scared ****-less/angry. Probably not a lot of middle ground, there.

I'm guessing there aren't many vehicles which pull 178 mph...and I'm actually SHOCKED a police car would be able to catch up.

that cop may not have caught up...its called a radio. departments usually call ahead to other departments up the road and they catch them that way

    • Wadena County Sheriff’s Office — 178 mph (speed was self-reported by vehicle’s passenger).

ya the first car could have reported the speed...doesnt mean that they were the ones to catch the person...just the first to report it. think before you post

i guess i'm reading it wrong, but it says it was "self reported" by the passenger. so that would mean that no cops saw this car going that fast and that the passenger called them in either during or after wards.

if i'm wrong i'm wrong and that's fine. but they need to rephrase that then.

At first, I thought it may have been a crotch rocket, but then when it said the speed was reported by the vehicles passenger, I thought nobody would be stupid enough to go that fast with somebody on the back, and then I thought to myself who would be stupid enough to drive 178 mph and get caught.?
