    Red Dawn (REMAKE)

Im only 24 but I remember the original Red Dawn like it was yesterday. Russians, Cubans, Colombians, Mexicans invade the U.S. Now the remake had the Chinese invading the U.S., just wondering if anybody else has heard anything about this movie or if they remember the original. WOLVERINES!!!!

It was definitely one of the better movies of its time.

Of course I remember the original... Commies from Cuba parachuting into a town in the Rockies! So realistic. A classic in its own way.

Sounds like they are using Chinese as the opposition this time. No way it can be as good as the original.

I love how they are now remaking good movies. Leave them alone. Remake ****** movies that nobody liked into good ones first.

Maybe Harrison Ford is coming out with another Indiana Jones movie.

    Re: Red Dawn (REMAKE)

Another great movie from my childhood going to be poorly remade...when will it end? Red Dawn was gritty and hard hitting, the remake will probably be PG 13 and have little blood or intense scenes.

Here's to C. Thomas Howell's epic last stand against the Russian attack chopper...WOLVERINES!!!!

OK, some movies are beyond repair. Although, Nick Cannon and Oprah could make this baby sing.

Wow, don't even joke about that...the last one was so bad I wanted to cry over how they had embarrased a legendary movie franchise

I agree, especially when they take good movies and "urbanize" them, the thing thats even more sad is that idiots flock to remakes. This and the trend of taking mediocre kids books and making them into movies that make people pretend they loved books they barely remember just need to go away.
