Anyone heard about mini packs being offered this season?

In past years for those not being able to attend all home games there was a mini pack option with like 3 games for around $100. Anyone heard if this option is going to be offered this year?

Mini packs won't be available until after September 8th.... They will include NE, KS, and MO I think......

Thanks. I have both wbb and mbb season tickets and to add FB and be able to get off for everything at work is a no go. I hope their is a package with UNI, Neb and someone else as those two games are a must for me.

The only mini-pack being offered is Kansas/Nebraska/Missouri.

Re: Anyone heard about mini packs being offered this season?

MiniPaks have been a good marketing option and they need to continue.

However, it is clear last year they went to far. They undercut single ticket game sales amounts, regular season ticket options and the seating upset many donors.

Basically, I think this year is a middle ground on them. They are including 1 big game (which also gets NE money), and not starting the sales till later.

This way they offer an options, but it does not undercut sales for UNI, or tick off those who buy full price season tickets.

I am sure it will be adjusted again in future years based on how this year goes.

I agree with you on this. I was very close to not renewing my season tickets this year and waiting until the mini packs came out because of what happened last year. I could have gotten much better seats than my Section B Row 20 season ticket set just through the mini packs.

Re: Anyone heard about mini packs being offered this season?

I think the mini-packs are great and they also work the good way in transitioning people up to season tickets. I had the mini-pack the for the previous two seasons and this year moved up to season tickets. Part of it was that they set up the mini-pack for the end of the season this year, which was brilliant IMO. It forced me, who is gung-ho early, but loses interest when it gets cold and basketball season comes to buy tickets and go to ALL the games.

The mini packs are for the cold games this year while they were warmer games last year.

Which is brilliant. Look at our attendance figures at the end of the season compared to the beginning of the season historically. Despite the conference opponents (usually division) being late in the year the higher attendance is usually early on.

I'd be interested to know if that was weather, farm, or team performance related.

they really screwed over donors last year. If they do mini paks they need to move all donors "in" closer john doe mini pak isnt sitting with $1,000 or500 donors.

They used to have a map of JTS where you could mouse over a section and see the view of the field from that section. I can't find it now...anyone know if it's still on the webpage somewhere?

This year the mini packs will be in the corners though. You can't get mini packs in donor areas this year.

Re: Anyone heard about mini packs being offered this season?

I agree that the mini-packs need to continue. Depending where I live when I graduate in December, I will probably get them for the 2011 season. Hopefully I can move back to the Chicago area and the mini packs would give me 3 games to see each season where the season tickets would be too much travel.
