You know, normally I'm the guy who corrects people who use the wrong words in common phrases but I have to say I kind of like the idea of actually saying "I could care less."

Saying "I couldn't care less" is implying you've spent so much time thinking about it to come to the conclusion that there is no lower level of caring that really you do care to some extent because you've dedicated that time to figuring out if you care.

Saying "I could care less" is implying you care so little about the topic that you haven't even given it enough time to decide if you could or could not care less than you currently do. The ambiguity of it makes you seem completely detached as though you don't even know this topic exists at all.

Therefore, while in theory the phrase "I couldn't care less" would mean that the subject is of the least possible importance to you the wasted time of determining your level of care actually bumps it up slightly on the care scale. And that, ladies and gentlemen is my case for "I could care less."

    Re: Shark Week

Jeff: "Do you know what the difference between humans and animals is?"
    Abed: "Humans have feet?"
    Pierce: "No, bears have feet."
Jeff: "Shark Week. Humans are the only species on the planet that celebrates Shark Week. Not even sharks celebrate Shark Week."

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

    Re: Shark Week

I still watch it every yearn but the last 5 years or so have been nothing but disappointing. It used to be about educating people about sharks and how they're not these horrible, evil creatures. Anymore it's just about sharks attacking people and showing their scars. It's nothing but trying to scare people now.

I like Shark week but they need to update the shows. They are repeats. I'd like to see more and different stuff eaten and attacked.

    Re: Shark Week

A few of the shows are good, but some are just dumb! I would rather watch my normal Deadliest Catch, Mythbusters, and Dirty Jobs.
