I wonder what the drop out rate for those schools are compared to the rest of the country.

    Re: Top Party Schools...

Iowa will drop off this list once all the bars go 21. That town is horrible other than there lax bar rules.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

Yup. Iowa makes the list due to bar-to-student ratio, which will plummet if the 21 only ordinance stays.

Generally this is based off statistics such as bar to student ratio, and number of alcohol related arrests. Playboy sent folks out around the country in 2002, and I remember we got in based off of tailgating. Methinks the same would happen again. Don't know how many times fans of other Big 12 schools have told me that ISU tailgating was crazy, but it's a lot.

    Re: Top Party Schools...

I used to be jealous that UIowa was such a nationally recognized party school. In retrospect I should have been thankful there was a fun weekend atmosphere right around the corner.

Be honest, who hasn't gone to Iowa City (during a non-CyHawk event) for a weekend and had a blast? Appreciate it for what it is.

BYU coming in dead last as a party school was a complete shocker.

i would say university of illinois should be up there, but considering they have like 1/4 asians it brought down the entire university, it has bars up and down the place, and its 18 to enter

Exactly. The day Wisconsin doesn't make a top 10 list for party schools is the day you found an absolute embarrassment of a top 10 list.

I don't know how they get these lists. I refuse to give these any credit until they put NW Missouri St. on there.

this is why i like college prowler, they ask a bunch of random people in the colleges, get a consensus of what its like and post a rating depending on how good of reviews it is compared to other places. Its easy to tell which are party schools and which aren't, the ones that aren't say that its harder to find things to do but you can find em (general way of saying its bad but its college so its better than nothing). Then you have the ones that are and people rave on how its the best thing on earth.
