    and so it begins...

Favre makes LeBron look reserved and media-shy.

    Re: Favre to Retire

I'll believe it when the 1st regular season game kicks off and he's not suited up. Even then, all bets are off if TJack gets injured.

    Re: Favre to Retire

Glazer just said on the radio that he may officially announce this week.

Glazer has three independent sources as well.

    Re: Favre to Retire

    Cue the soap opera.

No way is it over with.

If it is truly over he left the vikings in a bad spot. Should have announced this along time ago so they could find another quarterback.

Oh, so it's officially "official" this time?

    Re: Favre to Retire

If this is true, we'll see the biggest flop from a fanbase slurping a player to hating him since well, Cleveland did it.

I don't buy that at all. He gave Viking fans one hell of a season, why should we hate him for that? The guy's 40. It's not like he's leaving to go somewhere else.

    Re: Favre to Retire

I would easily pay $100 to have the ability to never hear about Favre again.

You may not, but I bet many will change their tune completely.
